So the strange region locking is explained by publishing rights.
You're right! I've just noticed it only shortly after I posted. I didn't know this is an anime. I thought this is a game. It's really strange to region-lock the anime in Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein considering that the anime itself was actually brought to said countries by Kazé with a PG12 rating, also carrying the consumer advice of: Mild themes and sexual references. I wonder if it would be an idea to even post animes that are also not available in the German stores, such as Sailor Moon, Inuyasha and Naruto, which were also brought to Germany by Kazé for the former two, and KSM for the latter one?
