I'd appreciate if someone found a way to get the overlay working with DOOM Eternal on the old client, i tried replacing files from the new overlay but i just completely bricked it. Maybe others will have more luck then me or know of a better way.

Overlay is incompatible with DOOM Eternal (game crashes) otherwise it works.

EA games that require Origin do not launch and some that don't won't launch either like Apex Legends, pretty safe to say anything after EAs comeback won't run.

There are 3rd party programs out there that manage Steam Cloud so that should be possible too.

Sounds like a pretty easy way to have your account nuked.
