Thank you. I consider the new soundtracks the best versions of them we've had. So it's perhaps a bit ironic. But I just kinda got into the process of modding them and ended up just doing it all. As long as there are people that will appreciate and use them, then I think it was worth it.

Both have been fixed. There are tons of reshade presets around that replace the bars with black bars (no stretching), and there is a controller fix in the FFIX subforum. The controller fix works for some controllers, but not all thus far.

Got links to either of those? I've never seen the first thing you're talking about, and is the controller fix the one you linked to on the first page? I'm using a dualshock 4 with an xinput wrapper and the mod didn't seem to do anything. You're sure it added analog movement?

I wonder if someone bought the game for Kaldaien if he'd pop in and just fix everything. He's over there working on FFX, which doesn't even need it, while FFIX sits here with no love.

All I want is to remove those damn border graphics on the side. I don't want the screen stretched, just non-distracting black bars. Also analog movement. I don't even want to play this without analog movement.

Graphics are going to be a big point in the modding community for this game, I'm sure, but I'm wondering if there's anything that can be done for the movement controls. The 4-directional controls are infuriating how when you press a key to move, the character only changes direction. If I'm trying to move fluidly and I press left then down, I'll only move down because the left will count just for a directional shift. It drives me crazy, but I'm not sure if anything can be done about that besides pestering Squenix about it to likely no avail.
