Hello fellow modders - so i've made a mod in which I completed the Darril in game sprite for a full sprite sheet. I used the base A World Reborn version so that it would match that mod.

I have successfully put the mod into my game and everything looks to be working to this point.

I am stuck on one thing though - how do I turn it into a patch to share it with others?

Any guidance on how to make it into a patch would be appreciated.


EDIT:

I've been trying for quite a while to do this following the instructions for explore - but I'm not getting anywhere with it. I can't seem to open my new files in explore. I can only open my backup obb now for some reason - and when I try to locate my zipped folder for the sprite - it is not listed when browsing. So looks like the patch part of the process is over my head...

Is it possible for me to edit the script of the game at all?

I edited Gogo to be the female empire soldier from the reborn mod - and gave it a unique female portrait.

So I would like to be able to change it's default name and also the description from it to her.

Is this possible?

Hey there - just wondering how abouts one would change the portraits. I would like to do my own set - but I'm unsure how to open them or then replace them.

I do know how to change battle/world sprite for a character - did the simple way of re-using an existing sprite set and just renamed the zipped folder to replace one.

But have not figured out anything with portraits.

If you can point me in the right direction that would be great

Hey there - question about replacing sprites.

Currently I can replace a characters in-battle sprite. I turned Gogo into the female knight design, just by taking the folder for the that knight and replacing/re-naming Gogo's folder.

I am wondering if it is also possible to change the portrait?

I have also tried to alter the sprites but i seem to be missing something I believe. When I re-zip a folder and use it for a sprite the game crashes. So is there a particular way that a spritesheet needs to be saved/exported in order to work? I wondered if it was simply that my photoshop has out-dated png/bmp exporting. If there is any particular programs that people use - I would love to learn more about it.

I am curious about modding with a game like this. I am a big fan of FF6 but was unsure how the modding works.

Personally I would love to see a mod that adds new playable characters - like the Angela character that was cut from the original game. But of course not sure if that's possible or not.

I have some basic modding experience with Darkest Dungeon and a few other games - so curious to see if it's within my skillset to do or not.
