If it were just code replacements and someone was willing to tell me what code to change and what to change it too, I'd be willing to figure out a way to make the hex edits. It could be possible with IDA, HxD or something else entirely.

I would be a little bit more optimistic, I don't think you've seen the mods that Denuvo games have. I haven't fully either, but they are good for the 3 games I mentioned. I really need to do some research, we all do. The mods I've seen for Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V were good, but does SFV have Denuvo? And doesn't Skyrim or Dragonage or some AAA RPGesque game with Denuvo have a shit ton of mods? Seriously need more research than just jumping to the negative information/misinformation.

Even modifying the exe has been debunked because early on in Sonic Mania, before it was patched, users hex edited out the Steam always online requirement.

Research MGSV and Arkham Knight mods?

I thought that Kaldaien discovered that it protects steam_api.dll or something. I don't know what file or files it protects on Origin or whatever else.

It's also worth noting that Sonic Mania is modded very similarly to Sonic CD which does not have Denuvo.

No because those games were modded, Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces come to mind. I think others. In fact in Sonic Mania you have to have the legit version to even use the mods, also Tekken 7 has mods.
