FFXIII has the most lines in the Datalog, there aren't THAT many lines in conversations to translate.

i agree here, translating XIII would be better but like i said, it's all just talking for now, since i can;'t even find enough free time for ;_;

FFXIII wouldn't be that hard to translate since it's a linear game. I can help with translating it (Yep, I'm Polish too ;) ). I would actually be really happy to help, just don't count on me when it comes to technicalities since it's my weak point.

XIII has thousands lines to translate, just like XIII-2. LR also has great number of lines ( if not more then XIII) but it's definetly shorter when it comes to the story, since it can be ended in few hours only. so here's where my logic came from.

It's possible, yeah. Adding entirely new language options would be difficult though, whereas replacing existing ones wouldn't be more difficult than rewriting.. everything.. which in and of itself is a feat. New symbols if not supported internally already could be added in by modifying the existing font maps. It'd be an insane amount of work though without a strong team behind it.

How text is stored in the game, is it possible to extract and edit it, also, adding characters like polish ż ź ć ś ó ?
(yeah, i want to at least try translate it into Polish, i wanted to translate XIII but since XIII has tons of text, i thought LR mighr be easier target for a try).

Soldier of Peace is definitely the first one that needs to have it's appearance swapped, haha. It's so powerful but sooo ugly.

I almost think it's on purpose, a subtle price to pay for using it. Because in no circumstance is it necessary, it's an easy way out. Same for Miqo'te Dress and Summoner Yuna. They look really silly and out of place. Though that says nothing for Amazon Warrior, Nightmare, Candy Raver, Carnaval Crusher, Mist Wizard, Watery Chorus, Dragon's Blood, and so many others. :P

Ability to change one garb to another, maintaining stats (from the garb you change), so you can make schematas with both the looks and power would be the thing that will make this game complete, for me at least. Same with weapons and shields.

it was already proposed/requested long time ago but saddly, here's the answer:
it's all possible but size of files that needed swapping and that would be needed to be downloaded is simply too big, that's why nobody will try to do something like that.
