That was a bit of a pickle but the packs are now fixed and the links are live! Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused! Also added patches for the custom title screen and event albums! Thank you for helping make this mod better :) we still haven't been able to get the general violence patch working but we've worked out a methodology to find out why that is that will be put into motion soon.

Thank you for the quick fixes! I may take a look at building the manual version later, but currently, I'm more focused on testing around with the AWR core branch. A question, though: what's up with these NPCs and their yellow eyes: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/ugc/2480809100918676706/204A106DE209A0BE7E83C499CE72756ED33729FA/ They look creepy. xD

You're very welcome! That's an intentional artistic choice by Bathory, I'm sure he will be able to give some insight into it when he gets on :)

I'd like to take this time to share this with the community. We've gotten a lot of feedback these past few days and its been very helpful. Thank you! We hear you and we want you to keep it coming. One concern I see that keeps popping up between here and places like Reddit is the color correction of both mods. So I'd like to offer you all a solution to test.

I'm looking for people to try out this ReShade file down below, its the CRT filter without any color alterations. I'd like to get people from the community's opinion on it and if they like it, I'll probably end up adding it to the manual install files.

Drop this file INSIDE of the ReShade folder in your Final Fantasy VI directory and replace. Be sure that you have a backup of the previous file elsewhere if you'd like to restore the color alterations after testing.

Again, this ReShade modification only changes the colors back to normal, you still get the CRT filter and the 16:9/4:3 TAB button swap. To any and all interested, please let me know what you think :)

Hey, I've encountered this problem a couple of times myself during testing. In my experience, it only happened after installing the large installers on top of each other and sometimes continuing to install patches on top of them that it happened for me. I'm not 100% sure why this happens, but the only way to fix this error right now is to revalidate your game files and reinstall your mods. The defilter will also need to be reinstalled but your ReShade will be fine. I just reuploaded the Manual Installers with the automated Main Party Packs, so it should make reinstallation quicker for you. I'm going to try to get to the bottom of this!

EDIT: Okay, I just tried it again and I see what you mean. I'm going to look into these two patches now.

Yeah, I'm keeping backup copies of main.obb in another folder just in case something goes wrong. I have a backup of the vanilla main.obb, and also a backup of the obb file after applying all 14 character patches since I don't want run those 14 patches again. :'D Replacing the failed main.obb file with a backup is faster than revalidating the game, and it also saves me the trouble of having to add the Defilter patch again. For testing purposes, I tried to apply the NOS NPC pack on a vanilla (unedited) main.obb. The NPC pack was successfully installed, but every patch after that one failed.

A question about the manual mod: how do you add the FFVI AWR logo on the title screen?

I've been playing some more with the AWR branch, and I'm slowly warming up more to the darker tone and more artistic sprites.

There's a couple of things like the AWR logo and the Event Albums that haven't been manually added to the manual installation packages yet. When I'm done fixing the NPC packs (I can confirm that it is the NPC packs) I will work on adding those assets as well :)
