Been playing a decent amount lately, just wanted to say that I appreciate the syncing of the Opera Scene with the new audio track. It worked shockingly well and has so far been the strongest part of the game.

Loving all of this, also reminiscing about how easy FFVI is in comparison to the other entries due to balancing issues from the original release haha

I ereally sorry if it's not the place to demand help, but I don't know how much do. I explain:
Yesterday I passed the game and I have a serious problem. Looking for info on the net I have not found anything and I am quite worried. It turns out that I have the save with the yellow starting star completed and when I charge it, I only appear with Setzer on the flying boat without being able to do anything ... Neither rudder control, nor talking to anyone (THERE IS NO ONE! TT), nothing .... Just go around the stage without more.
I don't have some save more,just one u.u so I'm blocked

Please to see if someone has found a solution because it bothers me not being able to continue with my game the new dungeons and continue to light pj's u.u

If don't have other solution than reboot the game from begining...so, I do it enjoing this awesome MOD since starts, but I've scary turn again the bug when I finish the game.

I've never had this particular glitch myself, there is a chance your save games may be corrpupted but try this out first before restarting your game.

1) Re-Validate your game files. Your save game won't be affected because your saves should be in the cloud.

2) Reinstall the mod

3) See if the glitch is fixed

If not, you're probably going to have to restart your game. But I'm thinking this very well should fix it for you.

The downloads for AWR - Core and Manual Installations have been updated to now include the AWR status fx hotfix patch. Also, Manual Installations has recieved a new patch to remove the drop shadows from battles.

With Steam Play being a thing (thank you Proton) and with me being in Linux most of the time, I'll be able to start my FFVI play through sooner than I thought I would. I did a quick test recently and FFVI ran absolutely perfect in Linux via their WINE build. I was going to go with the Nostalgia pack but I think my first playthrough will be with the Hybrid Mix and then the new. :)

Color index issue in the sprites. Just had to reorder the colors from the 2nd position and it fixed them! Tis all good!

This hotfix resolves a minor glitch for the AWR sprites which was causing the glow to the outline of sprites, from spell and relic effects to cease functioning. This hotflix applies to the following sprites:

- Celes
- Strago
- Relm
- Gogo
- Setzer
- Gau
- Locke in Merchant Clothes

Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused; the hotfix will be included into the main installers at a future date.

Has anybody else had the issue where magic effects will not show on Strago? For example I casted shell on him and he does not glow green? But the spell appears to still be having an effect.

Also can we sample that Veldt Track somehow?

Hey all of the downloads are the latest versions with hotfixes already applied. Glad to hear the music is finally working for you again. I'll take a look into the blitz ui problem, not sure why the installer is crashing; but ill try to recreate it on my end. Just curious, what patch did you install just before the alternative blitz ui patch? Are you able to install any more patches on top of the game since the crash?

Alright, as I thought. I'd attempted to install the Sabin Blitz mod after, I believe, the NOS event album mod, and when that failed, went for the mobile UI removal mod. So yes, I could still add mods to the obb file after that one crashed and deleted itself.

However, I did encounter the music problem again, after about an hour and a half today. Seems to be the same regardless. I thought a clean install would work, but apparently not. Like I said, for now I'll leave it for a while and see if anyone else has similar problems. I suggest about two weeks or so, but you could set your own time limit if that doesn't sound like enough, or even too much.

Kk we'll wait it out for now, in the mean time I'm still going to try and recreate the problem on my machine to see if I can come up with anything!

Im really sorry you feel that way, because I think it's an amazing art style, but if Amano's style doesnt float your boat, you could always use the SNES-palette sprites featured in the Nostalgia pack, Hybrid Mix and Manual Installations.

Do you feel the rage? Anyone that's played FFVI and is a completionist knows they have to spend a lot of time on The Veldt; theres just no getting around it... The same track, over and over for hours. Some would call it "rage" inducing. So for those of you who've been burned out by The Veldt, we offer this solution :)
