Before i continue I will say this.. all the sprites being made are amazing and the spriters involved are clearly talented and i'm defo looking forward to playing FF6 again with Amano sprites. So im just saying.. I find it weird after hudreds of posts of people saying (all over the net) that the would like the snes/gba looking sprites (which are the GBA sprites and the base rom/emulator for the STEAM version) but no one has actually done this. Would it just not be a simple case of maybe copy/paste/insert (or however it works) the GBA sprite files over to the STEAM version? or would this cause inconsistence of how the sprites are placed in the STEAM game? i'm genuinly curious if that is possible or not.. if not why not..? are files named different for the gba/steam versions even though its run from a GBA rom and emulator? please dont think im trolling or anything like that.. i AM genuingly interested in what I have asked above.

It takes a lot of work. I used to rip sprites from the SNES version and align them to sheets. Doing just that was a long process.

When I get back, I'll try to open my copy and peek inside at the files, but the hardware limitations on the Android version makes it so you can't just copy and paste. It takes aligning, definitely, and probably a bit of altering the sprite or maybe the code calling for the sprite. It is doable, but pretty hard.
