Memoria - Engine modifications
Extract the files anywhere (and make sure it's the mod, not the source code from GitHub), then run Memoria.Patcher.exe to install the mod. For most people, it's as simple as that. If the installer can't find where your FFIX is installed, do this:

1) Start Command Prompt (search Google for more instructions, the easiest way to open it is to press Windows button + R, type cmd in the "Open:" field and press OK)
2) Navigate to the folder where you've extracted the Memoria files. For example, let's say your user name is Zidane, and you extracted the Memoria files to C:\Users\Zidane\Documents\Memoria_b. The Command Prompt should start at C:\Users\Zidane. Type cd Documents and press Enter. Then type cd Memoria_b and press Enter.
3) Type the following command:
Memoria.Patcher.exe (FFIX path here)
and press Enter. For example, if your FFIX is installed in C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY IX, type the following:
Memoria.Patcher.exe "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY IX"
and press Enter (note that you'll need the quotation marks, i.e. "these").

Command line interface:
  • Memoria.Patcher.exe - will patch game files using current directory or path from the windows registry
  • Memoria.Patcher.exe <gameDirectory> - will patch game files using a provided path

First run:
  • Run game.
  • If there is no error you will see "Memoria.ini" file in the game directory.
  • If something went wrong you will see error in the "Memoria.log"
  • If you not see "Memoria.log" try to run game with administrator rights
  • If you see "Sharing violation on path" then close applications that hold this file
  • If you see "at Memoria.CsvReader.Read" then fix files in the StreamingAssets\Data directory or delete them and patch again.
  • If the error persists see "\FINAL FANTASY IX\x64(or x86)\FF9_Data\output_log.txt"

Configuration:
  • Close the game
  • Open Memoria.ini via any text editor (notepad for example)
  • Change "Enable" value from 0 to 1.
  • Specify other params
  • Save Memoria.ini
  • Run the game

Yes that's exactly what you gotta do, all those abilities she has already learned become cancelled out for some odd reason if you add any abilities to her, not sure if that's some bug or not but you pretty much gotta make her abilities start from scratch like a new party member from the beginning who hasn't learned anything. Although you don't really have to match the AP requirements to these abilities, you're free to lower the number if you want her to just learn it already. Including the other three side characters.

Thanks, I was able to get Beatrix working with support abilities. I eventually gave her Freya's support abilities, except for High Jump, High Tide, Dragon Killer and Initiative, since Freya has 40 support abilities, while Beatrix only has room for 36. I left most of her active abilities at requiring 0 AP to learn. This means she can use her skills in battles, but the abilities don't appear in the party menu. It doesn't matter, since there's not many abilities I would have her use outside battles. I switched Cura and Life to requiring 1 AP to learn, and had her learn them from accessories, so now she can cast them outside the battles too. I had to keep Full-Life at 0 AP, since she can't equip anything that would teach her the spell.

thanks : )
So everytime I install the mod I can't take screenshots anymore...
And when I take it over screenshots works, wtf

The custom launcher disables screenshots. Replace it with the original launcher (I believe it was renamed to FF9_Launcher.bak) to restore the screenshot feature.
