Quiet guardian main purpose is tanking, like cyber jumpsuit. I don't see how it becomes weak :O

Well if we can edit models and textures by changing their name like in Skyrim it would be very easy but I suppose it's more complicated here ^^

Yup I know I can track it using trash items and learn the extinction rate by visiting the FF Wiki but I'm not asking for workarounds ^^

Could it be possible (and worth it/easy) to create a mod to know how much mobs of a species you have killed and how many you still have to kill so the species go extinct ?

Just had a crash myself a bit ago. Not using anything third party to run it. Was activating the dud fireworks in Yusnaan when the game crashed.

This is the only crash I got so far (and i'm near the end of my first run). Thanks to chrcoluk I tweaked some graphic options, turns out the game doesn't crash at the dud fireworks when framerate is set to "fixed".

That would be great ! Some garb have very interesting stats and passive but are just so ugly it keeps me to use them... (Soldier of Peace anyone ?)

Actually I didn't try with Equilibrium. So the problem is that only "The Savior" is flagged as renamed thus Equilibirum is the only garb keeping custom name.

I tried with "Mist Wizard", renaming it "Test". (and tried with the two other starting schematas just in case it was related to only one schemata)
"Test" shows ingame as soon as I type it in Cheat Engine. But if I quit the game or go to the main menu and reload the save "Test" is lost and replaced by "Mist Wizard". Even if I save the cheat table in Cheat Engine and load it.

And I can't edit the wrong string because there is only one showing up with the research for "Mist Wizard"

It seems like Cheat Engine only saves the address of "Mist Wizard" and doesn't save the edited value : If I go to the main menu "Test" disappear from the value column which remains blank.


"but if the name changes in the menu, and you save it, it should stick." If you dont understand I guess I do not "save" properly then how am I supposed to do so ? ^^

Scarlet forgot to mention that if I want to rename things through Cheat Engine I have to do it each time I lauch the game :(

So I take it back : my request is indeed not pointless ! But not a priority at all either.


Edit: When I launch the game and load a cheat table where I changed the name of a schemata, the name is reverted to default.
Is there a way with Cheat Engine to not only save the address but also the edited value ? Load the cheat table each time i launch cheat engine and the game is not a problem, but having to rename each schemata because only their address has been saved is making this method not worth it D:
