I'm the original founder of FatGamer.net. Im glad to see 182 members still in this group despite it being four years since the shutdown of the official community. The spirit of it still lives on in me, and other members. One day soon I hope to have the cashflow to revive this wonderful gaming group.

Well, after 3 years I am closing us down. FatGamer has struggled since the beginning. Poor planning has plagued us, lack of time, and much more. Never really turned out completely the way I thought it should. There never was a real website, not a lot of donations. In total it has cost $9,600 to maintain worst of all, thousands of hours of work with no return.

I want to thank all of my admins, and the few donators that we did have. Once upon a time I had fun doing this and that wouldn't be the case if it weren't for all of you.

I learned a lot of things trying to administrate a community like this; a lot of people are selfish, and a lot of people are giving. It means a community with the ideals that I had hoped fatgamer would have can not, would not, and never will exist and is the main reason I refuse to continue.

I hope you all had a good time playing on our servers. As always...Live fat, die young, and leave a giant, bloated corpse.
