As you may have noticed I try to help everyone as best as I can. To have fun, be faster, know how to race and enjoy the group overall.

In this thread I would like to share a tool that can help most of you improve your lap times. It records and displays telemetry of your laps. From your speed, gears, braking, steering, wheel spin etc. You name it, its there.

So all you have to do is go to the link below to download the tool:

Next follow these steps:

• Make sure you have Java installed/updated.
  
• Unpack the file anywhere you want.
  
• Enable data feed from F1 2013
  
  In short you do it like this: Got to: My Documents/My Games/<Codemasters Game>/hardwaresettings/hardware_settings_config.xml
  
  And find the motion entry and change it to the following:
  <motion enabled="true" ip="127.0.0.1" port ="20777" delay="1" extradata="2" />
  
  
• Start F1 2013
  
• When the game has booted up. Open the telemetry.jar

Now you can do time trail, races etc and the tool will record your information.
You can check the info out after your racing to see where you can improve.
