Empries is currently beginning to get more and more players help us populate and gain more active players. Join the empries community pick up games group for notifications on when games are happening and for when new maps are being tested.

It's a playtest to make sure everything is working nice for release. Only asking for an hour or so of your time.

How this works
You have to opt into the empires beta to join in. In your Steam library, right-click Empires and click Properties. Click the Betas tab and choose Beta - Empires Beta Test.

Close the properties window. Steam will now update Empires to the beta version. Click Play to launch Empires beta. Click here for more info.[forums.empiresmod.com]

Just remember to opt out of beta when play test is over, otherwise you'll have conflicts joining the public server.

Hey guys, I know it's a LARGE stretch and risk, don't hate for the idea but think of it as a possibility.
What if we remake Empires for Gmod?
I don't like GMod and it's saying something, but if we have the servers we all live on a popular game, the spirit of the game is still there.
Yes it's the principle of the thing, but with few matches actually happening every few weeks, we need to think of possible expansions or translations. There will be a major rush around the holiday time and such, but when there isn't?
Just wrap your heads around it and if it's not a great idea, then that's done and over.
