What's a memorable moment you experienced in a TES game?
Just joined this group and wanted to contribute by posting good memories from TES games. Hope we can share some! I've had some fun moments too.

One time I was in Morrowind searching for some artifact when I stumbled across a cave. "At last the artifact must be in here" I thought. I venture inside fighting some enemies along the way, until I come across this bridge and see a lone bandit standing on it facing the other way. He has not seen me yet. I ready my two-handed axe above my head and run to chop him to pieces but, in a split second, just as the axe comes swinging down, the small wood elf turns around and I hear: "Hello fr... *SMACK*" He falls over dead. I felt so bad I had to take a 1 minute of silence in his name, which I soon forgot after I kept on clearing the caves of baddies. Nevertheless a tragedy.

Another one, pretty standard, is when I played Oblivion in my earlier years and killed of some random farmer after he discovered I had invaded his property (and looted ehem..). I don't feel that bad as he sounded like a jerk. But I remember feeling scared and guilty af when Lucien Lachance suddenly shows up in my sleep to congratulate me for my kill. I had no idea that would happen and I realized everything has consequences... so I promptly joined the Dark Brotherhood :).

What's some of your most memorable moments?

Killing the Emperor in Skyrim was pretty memorable for me.
I've had many playthroughs on Skyrim but in my all time favorite playthrough which happens to be my favorite in any elder scrolls game ive played, I went for 100% completion like legit anything and everything you can possibly do (choices, random encounters, quests, items, skills all to 100+, everything). But what made it feel like a real journey for me is the reason that in my first 5 minutes of that playthrough i recruited Erik The Slayer as my follower, and i completed the game 100% with him at my side, sort of. In the very last thing i had to do, which was defeating Kharstagg the frost giant king, almost poeticly my health was very low and i fell back to heal and Kharstagg charged but Erik ran in from his vantage point where he was firing fireballs at the frost giant with the dual staves i gave him, he took Kharstaggs health down quite a bit but ended up getting smashed into the ground killing him. But he held him back long enough for me to heal and chug some potions and slip on mage gear and i summoned 2 atronachs and started raining down on Kharstagg with incinerate spells along with my 2 flame thralls until he finally died. I know i couldve easily reloaded one of my many saves during the long fight to resurrect Erik but i chose not to because it being my characters final quest, Eriks death almost seemed fitting in the moment. So i decided to dress my character like a normal npc, store away all his gear, and retire him to Lakeview Manor with his wife and daughters. Although i put Eriks Dragonbone armor and Greatsword up for display in the house in rememberance of him being the most heroic Npc ive ever met in Elder Scrolls in my opinion. Erik The Slayer drinks in Sovangarde telling stories of of adventures.

On my very first attempt to play Skyrim, I pick-pocketed the Jarl of Whiterun not realizing that there would be any consequences. I got thrown in jail and had not idea how to get out (I also did not know I could pass time until I got released). I ended up just creating a new character because there wasn't a good previous save lol. I have learned so much since then.

Amidst Skyrim's icy grip, I, the humble Braa1Br00dj13, embarked on an adventure into the accursed Labyrinthian. 🌬️

This place, long shunned, had beckoned with an eerie allure. The Draugr Overlord, a specter of dread, had thwarted me repeatedly. Yet, on this fateful day, I mustered courage like a true Dragonborn.

My path led to a chamber steeped in deathly aura. The Draugr Overlord, shrouded in malice, rose to challenge me. Innumerable cheese wheels rolled by, offering mere moments to press on. The Thu'um, a gift from the Divines, resonated, shaking the very foundations of the labyrinth.

The battle raged, an epic confrontation etched in the stones' memories. Cheese wheels dwindled, and the skies themselves seemed to quake. With a final shout, I shattered the Draugr Deathlord, reducing it to spectral fragments.

In that instant, amidst the labyrinth's chilling embrace, I was more than a mere mortal; I was a living legend. A Dragonborn who had defied odds, vanquished fears, and etched their name into Skyrim's annals.
