General Information

DotA is Hard is an Australian based DotA 2 inhouse community. We place special emphasis on friendly players and a willingness to learn at all levels of play.

Facebook [www.facebook.com] is our primary means of communication with the community while we are currently building the website. I have fixed the link from this steam page and you should find it down the right hand side of the page. The steam group is primarily used to find players as well as providing notifications for events.


- All skill levels are welcome as long as you are friendly and willing to learn/teach.

- Open DotA 2

- Above your chat window in DotA 2, you will see a + symbol. Click on it.

- Search in custom channels for "DotA is Hard" and join the chat channel.

- Use this chat channel to ask for an invite to the DotA is Hard guild. Be persistant as Admins may not always be watching the channel. If no one answers you, feel free to add me (Project_Swift) on steam and ask for an invite personally.

- Once in the guild you can communicate with other players in the community. Chat with them, start inhouse games, find people to cue with for match making, find mentors for bot games, etc.


Currently, because the number of players currently allowed in a guild is capped at 1000, DotA is Hard has split into two guilds.

Once guild is named "DotA is Hard" and the other is named "DotA is Hard - Experienced Guild". Please note that these are just names left over from when we attempted to split the guild into three different guilds and that the experienced guild is actually just another general all skill level guild same as the original.


The best way to communicate with me is by messaging the facebook or adding me on Steam. Just a notice that I do not reply to messages while casting on Wednesday night but I do reply between games.


PLEASE be kind and courtious to other players in the community and I fully condone the Commendation and Report system that is built into DotA 2. And please have fun playing DotA 2! That is why we are all here after all.
