First, get the original game. All you need to do is extract it anywhere.

Next, get the mod. Extract this then copy all its files over, overwriting and merging any folders that it asks you to. If you installed properly, it should ask you to.

Next, if you want to host a server, download and apply this patch.

The main server's IP is 73.53.105.222, add -s73.53.105.222 to a shortcut target if you can't find it on the main list.

Hey kids look, free game!
Also this has tons of new stuff in it, including the first few storyline missions AND storms. No multiplayer though. If you want to do broventures you have to shell out $20 at least for that.
