While the lovely Ben Forbes is finishing up his gig, we're slowly getting ready for our own gig -- our own, very awesome Versus gig.

Keep your eyes peeled on Ben until he's done, then quickly get your coffee, tea and sweets for the game. We, too, are ready to rock'n'roll.

Da House (or dahou.se, if you prefer) has come a long way now. Starting as a few friends who felt like playing games together, we've grown to a large number of members. This obviously requires a fair bit of coordination, and unfortunately, a bit of bureaucracy to work properly.

Firstly, it's important to establish what we are, and what we are not. We're a gaming collective. Not a clan, not a competitive anything-or-other, and the reason we play together is because games are fun. If you can't observe this, you don't belong with us.

Attitude is an occassional problem we need tackling; losing a game isn't call for ruining the fun for everyone else. If you dislike playing, please leave the game. A replacement can be found, and a replacement should be found, rather than disrupting the entire game. A revised set of guidelines for play will be published soon (right here on this Steam group!)

Our primary channels are what they've always been: Steam, and Mumble. Additionally, Google Apps are running on dahou.se, and the first 50 members who want it can have an account, free-of-charge, including a free-to-use @dahou.se e-mail address; contact me for more information.

Currently, I reside as supreme-batshit-insane-crazy-overlord of this whole project. Mostly because most of the resources we use are mine (And MasterCheese's), but also because some sort of organisation, I feel, is required. As it stands, Dan and I are the current admins of the Steam group, MasterCheese, Dan, draggles and myself are admins on the Mumble server. Al is in charge of appointing admins for his personal Left 4 Dead 2 server, which is at our disposal.

Everyone and anyone are welcome to join us, as long as they make a good player---not necessarily skill-wise, but are open, honest, and more importantly than anything else, have fun when they play.
