Sorry everyone, that Arkham Knight guide will take longer than I wanted to be released. I have been on a bit of hiatus from working on it since April & have been distracted with the Darksiders games... & now Saints Row 4.

The biggest problem with Steam... is games I want, go on sale too often & it throws my whole schedule out of whack. Because of that though, I am "swapping" some guides/games planned for this year - tentatively, I have now added Dead Space Remastered to the list; probably start on that around September-ish.

But for the near future, here is a progress update on my current guides (worth mentioning):

Saints Row 4 - My newest diversion, but if it is anything like SR3 (which it seems to be) it really won't take too long to finish as it is easy to binge. It should be 3/4 complete by the end of the month & released in early July.

Darksiders 2 - I am about 1/4 of the way through. Lots of Collectibles to write descriptions for, but apart from that, it is not really that complicated of a game. I started out really strong, but my motivation started petering out on it a few weeks ago. I am hoping to have it finished sometime in July.

Brink - Chipping away at this one. I am in the final grind of beating all the Missions on Hard Difficulty (which is a pain) but after that I am in the home stretch. This should be done by the end of the month, or in early July as well.

Zombie Army Trilogy - I have been working on this guide in the background since November of last year. All that remains is a few Online Coop Achievements in Horde, & then farming out the 10,000 severed limbs Achievement. This should ALSO be done around the end of the month, & be released sometime in July.

Arkham Knight - After I have finished Darksiders 2 & Saints Row 4, I promise, I will be coming back to Arkham Knight for my next "tour". In the next run of it, I want to have the first playthrough of the campaign fully completed which is the longest part of the game due to all the Collectibles. Once that is done, I still need to do a NG+ run on the hardest difficulty, a run of each of the short DLC Episodes, & then... white knuckle through all the Riddler's Revenge Challenges (which I actually enjoy a lot... ignoring the Predator Challenges). The Combat Challenges & new Batmobile Races are pretty fun.

Unfortunately, games like this are really difficult for me to crush & usually require bursts of attention. I did good for my first "tour" though, & got 71 pages written, which is a lot, but unfortunately I am probably only 1/5 of the way through the game. It is 100% going to be way bigger than even my Arkham City guide was - which was big for the time.

Which brings me to a question I have to all of you: do you have a preference towards 1 single massive guide (my Witcher 3 guide), or a multi-part guide (Mass Effect, Arkham City, Phantom Pain). For me, multi-part guides makes things more manageable oddly enough & also helps me with "mental milestones" - but as someone actively using the guide, is it easier just having it all in one place? Let me know down below (if you read this) & if you have a preference or opinion on this matter... At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter to me, as the whole point of the guides is to make things as easy as possible for all of you to earn your 100%s.

To cut a long post short, at the moment once these aforementioned guides are all finished, my remaining forecasted guides for 2024 are: Darksiders 3, Skyrim, Dead Space - Remastered, & Witcher - Thronebreaker. I don't really like talking about future/forecasted guides as it is tough to follow through with & rarely ever pans out how I want. Those four are most likely going to happen, & there is probably another two or three I also want to do as well, but could also be swapped out/not even end up happening. So I won't mention them.

At the moment, I am taking a bit of a break from my "long-haul guides" & just working on some more light/easy guides. If you have seen my Recent Activity on my profile, you will notice I am playing a lot of Brink right now. I am in fact working on a guide for it, & am well on my way to having it done. At the same time, I am around halfway through Darksiders 1 & also plan to have that out & done relatively soon as well.

Brink is pretty niche & I don't expect the guide to be too notorious. But it is fun to play, & 100% can be earned completely Offline, which is a big plus for me. The only reason I am doing it is I used to play a lot of Brink years ago & had a "craving" to go back to it. I am almost done the "natural progression" Achievements & am soon to be into the final grind of it; which is pretty simple & won't actually take too long.

As for Darksiders 1, it will be even simpler. The bulk of the Achievements can all be done through "natural progression"; I am structuring the guide to lead you to as many Collectibles as I can with the least amount of backtracking. The grind of THIS game is in getting enough Souls to buy all the Weapon Combos, Skills, etc. Which again, won't be too bad. You go to the best Soul yield spot, grind for 1-2 hours tops, & your golden.

These will also be pretty short guides - sub 15 Sequences, which is pretty darn short as far as the majority of my guides go. For you guys, these are definitely under 15-25 hour 100%s; Darksiders especially. I am hoping to get them both out to you all by the end of this month.

June will be taking another big chunk out of Arkham Knight (maybe even finishing it) as well as completing Darksiders 2 (& ideally even Darksiders 3). Arkham Knight is my next big project that I will be working away on, & I plan to have that out before the end of the summer (as soon as I can). It is a doozy with 113 Achievements; I will drop updates on my progression as I go. Still working through the first playthrough & getting descriptions done for the 200+ Collectibles in it...

I want to also do guides for Blasphemous 2, Skyrim, & Witcher - Thronebreaker for this year. The rest are more up in the air & based on more of what I need to not be burnt out. I want to start working on the Borderlands series, finish my guide for Final Fantasy 13 & Nioh, but I also have at least 37 "Substitute Projects" I could also begin/swap things out. Apart from the first three games I mentioned, I won't be able to say with certainty what other guides I could be putting out for this year until I start finishing things.

My quota of "12 guides a year" will definitely be met, & I hope to exceed that for 2024! Happy Hunting, everyone!

Almost finished Days Gone, I am in the last push to get the remaining Gold Medals in Challenge Mode. I also have 3/4 of the guide already edited as well, so once I finish up, I can get the guide out & released relatively quickly. This has all taken me much longer than I anticipated... as always. I will also be banging out a quick Darksiders 1 guide in the next few weeks or so as well; will be doing the same for the other two games in the series as I work on Arkham Knight.
