Demoman shield concept: The Double Take

This weapon splits the charge bar in half, allowing 2 charges before having to wait for a recharge. However, the charge time is halved aswell. This prevents the user from reaching the full 195 damage crit melee so you can only ever do 88 damage per swing at a time. This shield allows Demoknights or Demomixes to get in and out of a fight with relative ease.

Thought process: Roamer Soldiers and Pipe Demos only tend to pick the gunboats, a banner or a shield as a utility. This weapon allows people with those play styles to focus more on their primary weapon. The extra rocket or grenade can make all the difference in a fire fight and save your life. Soldiers and Demos can run out of primary ammo quite easily in bad situations so the extra spare ammo can fix this problem.
