I dont ever play heavy and when i do i dont use custom weps cause most of heavy's custom weps arent good.

Okay, hard-counter weapons to counter hard-counters are not okay. The Spy-Cicle and the Danger Shield are great examples of this. They're not fun to fight against.
But I'm mostly concerned about the combination ability of this with the Bulletproof Battery...

Make sure you have full downloads on in options, and then reconnect. Also, is the weapon invisible for just the one your holding or everyones? if its just your yours you might have your viewmodels off.

The reason it works is why. Re-healing the person will change your healing amount to the new one after crit heals, so something with how that works is what's screwy.

Is it even possible to remove the critical healing effect entirely or is it hardwired to the game's code itself?

probably hard coded, because it is something across all mediguns.

I know. Something something crit heals is why we can't have nice things.

Crit heals is when you dont get healed or damaged for a certain amount of time so your healed more. I dont see the problem it causes but ok.

Rework for the booster shot.
+15% overheal RATE (not amount)
+Overheal lasts 50% longer.
+5% ubercharge rate (to make up for that its not as good)
-25% heal rate
Ubercharge Increases overheal by 300. (a heavy would go to 750) once ubercharge has ended the overheal will remain if continued to be healed, BUT as soon as damage is taken it cannot be healed back up. I.E heal heavy to 750, uber ends, he keeps 750 but takes 100 dmg, he's now at 650.
I think it honestly fixes most of its problems Tbh.

I think the continuable overheal is a hardcoded problem. That would also explain why you need to reheal to actually apply the Uber to teammates.

Wait does the Bulletproof battery still have the no overheal nerf? if not imagine it with the booster shot.. Effectivly doubles hp +300 overheal...

Jokes aside they should make it so it doesnt overheal heavies higher than a normal one and to make it so that no other class can go above 450. And for the BPB (bulletproof battery) they should bring back being immobile imo.

The soldier banner that increases firing speed is a bit underwhelming, it doesnt seem very noticable.
