Does their damage resistance ramp up or something? Just the other day I Machina headshot a sentry heavy and it did somewhere around 419 damage.

it ramps up over time to 50 FUCKING PERCENT RESISTANCE.

He has a level 1 dispenser and a pocket medic. Are you seriously going to nerf it because he had 2 heal sources and because you just suck at dealing enough damage over a short time?

Make it so it increase your survivality by adding
(+) +20% movement speed while healing
(-) receive +40% pushforce
This boost is added to the class speed mimic (scout and spy)

It allow you to run under cover or dodge projectile
But still bound you near to an ally, so you can't just be super sonic

push force is an upside. (say in a surfer dude voice) SURF THE DMG BRUH

I would still use any other engi secondary over this.

Reasons being;
Near useless range
Conflicting stats
Kills ammo

The wrangler doubles fire rate with no damage reduction, but this one gives
1 benefit

A downside that decreases this benefits impact

A downside that makes the sentry itself have poorer eyesight than a drunk demo

And this version has a third nerf
That kills sentry ammo and in turn kills metal, making the only benefit be useless much faster

The 4th nerf is that you get no pistol to defend yourself at mid range or when out of shells in your shotgun

Still better than the actual version, just tried to add something without going to far
the main point of using it is having a better damage output in order to take heavy or solidier before they destroy it

if I would make a great Signal booster, that would be worth using
i would put these :

while deployed :
(+) +100% sentry range
(+) +100% sentry fire rate
(-) -50% damage
(-) -75% sentry turn rate (it's 4 time slower, making it dodgeable)

to protect corridor, but well, Crafting won't like the idea anyway

I agree, the signal booster is useless, but this isn't much better.
Decreasing damage and increasing fire rate is a redundant idea for a sentry gun

The wrangler already does the job better either way.
I will take an idea from a weapon suggestion I have seen earlier called the gear shifter

Press reload to bring up a menu with 3 choices

Gear 1:
(-)50% slower firerate
(-)100% less knock back
(+)100% faster turn speed
(+)50% damage resistance

Gear 2
Default sentrygun

Gear 3
(-)75% slower turn speed
(-)25% damage vulnerability
(+)100% more damage
(+)25% more knockback

You could waste so much time destroying a sentry and in like 5 seconds he has a new one up.

They have 108 health, take a while to build, and still cost the engineer metal.
