CSComp Community

CSComp is an irc channel (#CSComp) based on GameSurge (irc.GameSurge.net). The channel was created on Sunday, 15th March 2009 and is owned by kooori and sKapeGoaT. The channel has a peak of 147 users.

CSComp started under a different name but an internal struggle between staff led to the official CSComp channel to be formed and start redefining the PUG's for the Australian CS:1.6 community. As CSComp has begun to revolutionise it has evolved as one of the best communities within the Australian network.

There have been extensive changes to CSComp over the past month. The biggest change would be the introduction of the EasyAntiCheat (EAC) system into our service. For the launch of EAC and out of good faith the admins decided to remove all bans and reset the stats. Along with that has come a Half-LifeTeleVision (HLTV) with recordings available on request (soon to be made automatic) that watches every match. As well as EAC & HLTV we've also began to start work on #CSComp2 and this website. Besides the previously mentioned things there have also been a lot of 'behind the scenes' updates to to the bots code making it more stable and reliable while also implementing more features (such as rename and delete).

To play in CSComp you are required to be running EAC and have the cybergamer.com.au server selected. If you are unfamiliar with EAC please check out our how to play page.

Each day the main channel reaches near 100 users who enjoy their CSComp experience. If you are unhappy or have a suggestion on how we can improve our service please feel free to contact us.
