Items stolen, need help
As the title say, i got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hacked

My steam account sent phishing links to all my contacts and then sold a big parts of my items for a very low price (from 1 to 20 cents). I got hacked even though if i had steam guard

I tried contacting steam but they don't want to hear anything, they won't help.

Note that i DID NOT make those transactions.

Any items / money is gone and won't be returned, account security is the account holders reasonability and you more than likely feel for one of the many ways to give away that information. You need to secure the account so they have no more access to the account and sending those links to people in your friends list too.

- Scan your computer. (Optional).
- Deauthorize all other devices.
- Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App.
- Change your password. (Email optional) on a secure device.
- Revoke the API key.

happened to me today too, i have sales pending, i thing we could at least have te power to report the accounts, my account just buyed 3 overpriced items after seling my items, i want to at least report the account that made the selling but i cant see it in the history,
I’m in same boat I been hacked twice since having steam and they have blame me each time like it’s my fault yet I have all the security enabled to stop anyone from gaining access but they think my PC has been compromised yet my antivirus hasn’t picked up nothing so it’s good bye to all my rust items and bye to playing rust on PC :/ so your not alone.

And it always comes down to this and people think they are so secure they have no need for basic security and nothing will touch them...

This is one of the problems Valve has, too much security is the same as having no security at all and does more harm than good.
