Max and I have started a Video Game Club! The first meeting is tomorrow (September 6) in the East Commons. It's quite ironic, seeing as playing video games is why we were shut down last year...

PS, for those wondering, this is not the end of the Computer Club. We are simply working on getting this started up, and then the Computer Club.

So after about a month of no meetings due to one thing or another, we will have a meeting tomorrow in E274, where we will (hopefully) disassemble a computer from the 70s. The meeting will begin at 3 and will go to around 3:45. If you have any questions, feel free to Steam message me.

The Computer Club lives again! Thanks to Mr. Wesney's mercy, we will be having our first meeting of the new Computer Club in E274 on Monday the 25th. There have been a lot of changes made to the club (too many to post about), so please come!

Good news everyone! As the title says, the Computer Club will be re-instated!

We were told that the decision was non-negotiable, but after a few emails, Mr. Wesney has agreed to work with us in order to reinstate the club.

That said, however, the club will undergo major changes. Odds are we will have a new advisor, who will be present at every meeting. We may also move meetings out of the fishbowl to someplace else, and the fate of game tournaments is undecidedm umong other things.

We still do not know what exactly happened, and we will still try to figure out what happened (specifically who got in an argument with a teacher) so we don't repeat the past. There were also some concerns that the IT staff had, which I suspect was the game tournaments.

Meetings will resume sometime after break. I will keep you updated as new information comes in.

I regret to inform you that Computer Club has been shut down by the school administrators.

In yeserday's post, I said that we don't know if Mr. Wesney had shut down the club or not. It turns out he did.

The reason as to why is very unclear. All we know is that, apparently, a member of computer club had a confrontation with a teacher and one of the computer lab staff overheard. They told Mr. Wesney and he shut it down.

We believe that it is ridiculous that this has happened, and we are doing everything in our power to solve this Issue.
