I don't mind the 20 rounds instead of 30, but I am wondering about the talking protocol. Normally in Classic Comp, you can talk with ONLY your own team, but you can talk to them whether dead or alive. In the past the Cafe has always been an all-talk feel, but we don't get the same community we used to in CSGO.
I have played around with a few other ideas for the voice comm, for a short time we had the plugin that would give you two talk buttons, one for team and one for alltalk, but that got confusing to players.
I'm also thinking of nixing the Teambets plugin. It's fun, but completely nullifies the point of playing comp - because you can just bet and buy guys you shouldn't be able to afford after a loss, etc.
i'd vote for just alltalk all the time its way more fun COME AT ME COMPETTIIVE FUCJEKRS
The voice comm is something I'm unsure of. On one hand Cafestrike doesn't get more than ~12 people, so we have nearly comp-level teams, so having team voice on is pretty helpful. It's not like TF2 where you can play the alltalk metagame because there are 11 other people on yoru team, in CSGO if I say "2 go 3 go ", they know they can push :csgox" harder.
On the flipside the last few times we've played cafe-strike we've just all been in mumble for the alltalk, because alltalk is pretty fun.
Otherwise, I'm fine with the CS:GO server with the current teamchat setup.
I might end up removing the voice comm stuff though - because it is a comp server. I DON'T KNOW (and it's a pain in the butt to keep the CSGO server running anyway).
