first of all..... fees are not determined by wallets.
Now, I would not reccomed you to use any web wallets, as you aer not in posession of your private keys. You can try Electrum, it's a free wallet software and really easy to use, or, you can buy a hardware wallet, that is not that expensive and is really worth it

I have no experience with that particular exchange, but the general rule is not to use them as wallets. Apart from that, if you have to make a deposit to then be able to withdraw something, it's 99% scam.

Best you can do is buy in a reputable exchange and then withdraw everything into a hardware wallet

It's an exchange, not a wallet. If you want a safe wallet, that doesn't need many resources, download Electrum. Note down the seed phrase you'll get in a piece of paper and store it in a safe place (never digitally) and always take care of fthe things you download and phishing attempts etc

Electrum is one of the best desktop wallets(my opinion)

If you are looking for a web wallet, I'd go with blockchain.info

then don't listen to what people that know about the matter tell you and do whatever you want

I don't agree with you; there may be some phising domains; but there are also some faucets that have been running for years and have the trust of a big part of the community
