I am looking forward to start using bitcoin instead of paypal, so tell me, how much are the fees when sending around bitcoins?

It depends how fast you want the transaction to happen. For it to be mined in the next block (10min) it would be $0.26, in the next three blocks (30min) $0.26, in the next 6 blocks (60min) $0.15.

Bitcoin (BTC) is at this point more a store of value than an every day payment method, mostly due to high transaction fees. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) on the other hand (which is more or less a different, upgraded version of Bitcoin) will always feature more reliable payments and fees for less than a cent. This means you can send any amount of money to anyone in the world for next to nothing, while knowing the payment will be verified in minutes (unlike Bitcoin (BTC)).

You can spend Bitcoin Cash at any merchant accepting Bitcoin via BitPay.
