Aren't steam users smart and savvy enough to not install IE10?

unfortunatley, the crashes dont involve ie 10, because i have 9, and dont use it, but it still gives me parsign errors and random crashes

Vale: I can not use big picture anymore due to the fact I have lost over 10+ hours in save games over 3 different games.

At random times during long gaming sessions big picture seems to find a way to crash, once crash you can play for a few hours before noticing the big picture crashed. If you save then quit the game your save game kick back to when big picture crashed resulting in loss of data.

These is repeatable since Jan 2013, if this happen when launching the game again it should notice a difference in save games and let me choose what to keep.

I love big picture but have had this happen three times and all I do is play long sessions and take screen shots, then the client kicks it.

I lost 10 hours of my life redoing the save games, NO THANKS until vavle fixes this!!!

I can't run Steam because i activated big picture. How can i disable this ??

BP mode IS that good, Herr. My laptop has a HDMI output on it and I use Big Picture Mode so that I can play games on my HDTV with my 5.1 surround audio. It also handles changing the primary display for me. It allows me to use my laptop as if it were a console, a much more powerful one than the PS3 or 360. Just because you don't choose to use it since you prefer playing your games in some kind of office setting rather than on a comfy couch with 5.1 surrous and a big screen, that doesn't make Big Picture Mode inherently lame.

When it works, the thing is a godsend. Unfortunately in a recent update Valve seems to have broken the functionality with the 360 Controller's guide button though, and that is making it not very useful until it is fixed.
