Countless times I have encountered my DS4 controller dying on me unexpectedly, sometimes mid-game or just as I turn on the controller, flashes on, then dies: it's dead. I have to recharge it then boom back to wireless gaming.

What I'd like is a indicator to tell me when to plug it, simple as. And a way to see it's current battery life when connected. Wired, or Wireless.
I've looked into it on Windows and the only way I've seen is installing something called DS4 Windows (I much rather just use steam input...) or upgrading to Windows 11 (not really something I'm willing to do for a feature so minuscule)

bee tee dubs Gyro is awesome. I've found it works best in third person shooters.
