F11 Hotkey not working for Steam Big Picture windowed/fullscreen mode after update

After the latest stable update, F11 hotkey no longer toggles Windowed/Fullscreen mode. I usually use it when steam big picture does not go back to fullscreen after the game changes the resolution. Now its annoying that I need to go settings every time and change the settings every time BPM goes out of fullscreen :(

Does anyone know a workaround for this issue?

i dont think that ever worked
use alt+enter to exit bpm full screen

I have been using the F11 hotkey for a couple of months, however after the last update it no longer works. alt+enter exits bpm which is not what I am looking for
