Blank Controller Settings Page + Controller Layout Settings not loading when connecting PS4 Controller to PC
Hi,

When I connect my ps4 controller to Elden Ring and try to Enable Steam Input, the page is blank. It works for some games and it fails for others (in this example, Destiny 2 and Elden Ring). I end up with a blank controller settings page

Another issue, which I believe may be caused by this one, is that in game, my controller is behaving like a mouse. In other words, it does not load the controller layout profile for the game (Elden Ring). It uses the steam controller layout. My left joystick changes the volume while the right one moves the camera (like a mouse).

Yes, I did enable Playstation Controller Support in Controller Settings, but for some reason it does not save any of my settings when I close Steam

I heard about DS4Windows, but is it bannable if I decide to use to fix the issue?

try running steam as an administrator then force an update...or try switching to beta mode then back....im currently using beta for the new recording features and im not experiencing any problems.

Having the exact same problem on Elden Ring, both on the beta client and outside of it. Seemed to be working fine until 1.2.3 dropped though.
