Did the URL in the announcement get updated to the correct subforum to reflect that? This is the main reason people are posting here, I imagine.

most people aren't aware of the subforums list to the right, or just assume anywhere is okay ... you really need to take them by the hand and guide them ... a shepherd's crook would work too.

Problem is that on the official announcement the link goes straight to this forum, nothing else

Sorry, but where is this subforums option? I don't see anything labeled that to the right of these posts, and the link redirects back here, and when I search google for "updated big picture mode forums" this is the only link that comes up. So, I really don't know how to find this fabled updated forum.

EDIT: I see, it only appears on the page one level above this. The person who posted earlier confused me since it sounded like I would find this option on this page. It should be noted, not everyone is super great at figuring out forums, since some people only go to them if there's a problem they couldn't fix or they need a quick hint when stuck in a game. That's probably why so many people have been posting on this forum by accident. I mean, the link above comes straight here, so I wasn't any the wiser :P

Well, playing through remoteplay(phone) Almost impossible , At OlD version there was option to set controls and extra buttons for phone, now only for gamepad, also disappeared pattern "steam link phone" , really sad tho.. I prefer old version more than this one, for person who DONT have steam deck it got harder To set controls fo phone, please fix it as soon as you can, phone was most likelyway to play and now Literally Unable because most of buttons now couldn't be set

Well, with the updated new big picture, I can't see "Turn Off Controller" in the setting ~
That work very well, why did Steam remove it?

tl;dr, I am doing it anyways.

Issues I found:
-big picture loses its focus when exiting a game
-can exit big picture mode without a warning when a game is running sometimes
-when exited big picture mode it can open by itself again in big picture mode

suggestions:
-add a spotify/music app function to listen to while gaming
-add a warning when trying to run a game while there's a game already running in bg

You ignore all bug reports. What's the point in either forum?
You aren't even worth giving a jester award OP. Stick to whatever it is you do when not posting here or ignoring all bug reports, as insulting us with pretending to care about this mess is an insult at this point. Bugs have gone totally unaddressed for up to and past 5 months now.
There is no way to excuse such abject failure from such a powerful and wealthy company as anything but intentional spite and/or incompetence.
