"We will be moving a subset of our servers in the London location to a new area in the datacenter. The affected IPs will be any that start with 212.187.xxx.xxx or 217.163.xxx.xxx. All voice services in the location will also be affected by this move. IPs that begin with 173.199.xxx.xxx will not be affected.

This move is expected to begin around 10:00am BST (London Time) on Thursday, October 13th. We expect this process to take up to 8 hours to complete, although some services may return sooner as equipment is powered up.

This move will be allowing us to improve our network capabilities, which will offer better performance as we grow.

We thank you for your understanding."

Beasts server WILL be affected, thus today it will be OFF until about 6 PM. Afterwards, it could run better than before and hopefully ping will be more stable than before. Lets see. :)

I am officialy proposing to reduce the limits.... 2 snipers and 2 spies in a team of 6 are just too much.... group members could have some exceptions, like admins already have... but it would be really needed that nobody abuses of these privileges... when a team is going to cap the last CP and all foot are needed, every sniper in background is one too much!

Now the sentries are finally OK, I hope. They are spawning on ROUND-START event, 4 sentries pro team. They should have high life and loads of ammo. If you see any problems related to the sentries, let me know.

The sentries are resolving spawn killing, but they are lagging the server, it seems. As soon as I will have some time and a connection working (now some probs with modem), I will have a look to teh script, spawning few anonymous sentries on round begin and rebuild them when destroyed, instead of building new ones on spawn of players. 3 pro team will be enough.

to prevent the server crashing, when there are just few players who die together, i have used an admin-respawn script and modified it in the way, that when there are 6 or less players, everybody gets a instant-respawn, to reduce the possibility that every player is dead in the same time. Hope it will help. As a bonus of this solution there is a shorter respawn time for admins (2 seconds).

I have installed GSCRAMBLE plugin now. It will take care of AUTO-TEAM-BALLANCE and SCRAMBLE. Now there is admins immunity to be moved, immunity for top 2 players of each team, immunity for engies with sentries and immunity for medics with ueber. It all sounds more than reasonably, but let us see, if it works well... With all the immunities, it may occur, that everybody in a team is immune and that it will stop to work. If you see any strange behavior, let me know and I will try to change the settings in some way.

Yesterday, on request of Maxamus, the limits were changed a little. Now just 7 players / team are needed to allow the second sniper/spy. 8 for second medic.

I oficiallly have no idea how to fix the server crashing on death event of all players contemporaneously. It would need to unload all sourcemod plugins and try to find a bad plugin.... I have tried just classrestricts, but it csrashes the same. Without the sourcemod/metamod installed it just kicks me on join - no idea why and no idea how could sourcemod resolve this problem, but it really does. As long as without sourcemod it is impossible to join the server, we probably have to live with the crashing problem until some new release... each morning with server empty I will try to find out, if it is caused by any of the sourcemod plugins. But thats all I can do atm.

Today there was a steam update to server. The crashing with all (or even the only one) players dead (or on class change) persists. I will try to eliminate all plugins later to see if it change something. If it does, we will have to look for an error in the scripts, which will take a lot of time. Until then, to start the server it needs a couple of players who doesnt die both together until more players join.

High ping kicker installed (max ping is set to 240, so that it kicks really just very slow people who are lagging the server).

Today, 16/8 I have changed class restrictions (it should start with only 1 sniper/spy/heavy/medic/engie... and only with enough players connnected it should enable more players in the same limited class. Let me know how does it working (we admins are imune to the class restrictions).
Another smaller change is regarding us, admins - now we should be able to choose a class without disturbing other players in that class - example: if I take engie, no other engie will be forced to change class anymore and we will not loose his/ her buildings. On the other hand, team with an admin inside could have temporarily more snipers than the opposite team - so admins should not abuse of their powers too much.
