The wooden doors of Balphagore's Belly haven't been greased in years, and creak loudly when opened. Entering the pub, one is immediately assaulted with a tirade of sensual sensations - the reek of sweat, piss, and beer; the sight of grease, broken chairs, and fornicators.

Like all pubs, BB has its rookies and its longstanding locals. The rookies knock themselves out on hard ale or start sloppy, violent fights with other amateurs. The veterans sullenly empty their pints from the dark corner bar, where they grumble about the way things once were and occasionally punch anyone fool enough to bother them.

Near the door, the hulking bouncers Apostate and Leyst look sourly upon everyone. Everyone with half a brain stays clear of them.

Hellhole though it is, Balphagore's Belly is a home away from home to the bored miscreant denizens of the village of Off-Topic.
