Here's a suggestion: Let's try to use the group chat to find Portal 2 co-op partners. IM'ing around will probably just annoy people, and hanging around in group chat is the most reasonable substitute for a "looking for players" flag I can think of.

Has anybody tried that new free-to-play Gotham City Imposters game? (I know it's only new to Steam, but still.) Might be an acceptible compromise between TF2 and Payday/L4D2.
