All Points Bulletin Pre-Crew Gathering

The order of things being done in the development and re-release of this game are horribly coordinated. As a game development manager, let me enlighten you on how a release or re-release should take place.

First, you have your closed beta, during this you should fix your technical issues(bugs), and finish developing your game.

Second, you have your open beta, balance your game dynamics and open your cash or item shop(if intended).

Third, release your game with as little bugs as possible, then focus on weeding those out and developing your post-release content such as expansions or new features, release those, fix bugs, repeat.

It's generally not rocket science nor should you need to have more than common sense to understand. As an experienced APB player from RTW's client, all the way until G1's client(right now), I hate to say I know what I'm talking about when it comes to the games major issues and flaws.

Usually, when you release a game like I stated above, you weed out the technical issues. For a fact, Realtime Worlds held their beta's even before they were done developing which is a completely wrong turn, because instead of taking negative comments from beta testers, they were ignoring them and still developing the game.

Now, you Gamersfirst have the rights to the title. And instead of focusing on technical issues, you guys are pulling a Realtime Worlds (me and my buddies would say) and just f*ing up before you even get halfway there.

Instead of focusing on balancing the game and fixing spawning areas, matchmaking, and progression. Fix the damn technical issues that the game has including many of the damn objects and wall structures in the game not rendering until 10 seconds after you run into them thinking nothings there. It really ruins the players experience while in the game during an escape or chase which are also totally pointless missions when it should count who has the item the most in a certain period of time instead of holding the item for 4 minutes and the last 5 seconds of the game an enemy picks up the item and wins the mission.

But, that aside. Fix all of the technical issues first. Every time I look at your blog, I see nothing but equipment stuck in customs and what your *planning on doing* when the time comes. I'm not doubting for one second that your working your A**ses off on re-releasing this title, just take it a little slower. And fix the horrific technical bugs before the progression, because in the long run, that's going to haunt, not the progression or how balanced the game is.

But, just I stated above. You could be using all this time your EU equipment is stuck in customs, and release patch after patch. Which almost makes brings me to, instead of releasing huge updates once a month, fix a bunch of bugs and just do small updates. Most people would rather see constant improvement rather than gradual, because with the annoying bugs in this game, having the game update after you fix a few, will just make it so that less players will experience those, instead of having a player sit with an annoying bug with a month before your next huge update. But seriously, fix the technical bugs, they are horrible.
