I'm sort of new to "anarchism". I don't have the best understanding of it.

What makes an anarchist society? Are any decisions made that are not agreed on by everybody? Does everyone just get along with cooperation and mutual benefit rather than threat, or are some rules in place with force behind them? Please explain. I definitely don't think it's anything like anarcho-capitalism, with mercenary courts and policemen as well as property being backed up by force, but if I'm wrong, you can correct me.
