Sup Fellas?
I was surprised to find AnandTech Steam group. I go by EpicSurvivor on the Forums, sure no one knows me. Any how, do any of you know of a 120Hz monitor between 23" and 24" for under $270?

Cool, thanks for replying. I'll def consider this. How you like your YAMAKASI Catleap? lol I saw on some other Forum someone who had it for 2 months then it broke.
Cheers!

Im actually a little concerned. The screen has been on a monitor arm for the whole time ive owned it, so it has been moved around a bit. I just recently noticed that after adjusting or sometimes after turning it on, the brightness flickers a bit before going back to normal. As it is right now its fine, but its defintley not normal, and im scared its gonna get worse. Which is one of the reasons i havent been so anxious to sell my old monitor.

That being said, its a beautiful screen, and after using it, i dont think i can ever go back to 1080p. I remember powering it up for the first time and having my mind blown.

For games and stuff, its probably overrated, and only puts more strain on your system to be honest. (At least most of the games I've tried so far - BF3 being the most notable). But the extra real estate when using the desktop is great.

And so I hear! they have lots of post on Overclock.net about this monitor and Achieva monitors and several people have said the same thing. Maybe you or someone should do an in depth review about this monitor for Anandtech. Just a thought.

Well, you have answered the question for me before I even asked it. I need it for gaming, and I like fluid gaming (Hence I hate my Asus VE248H 60Hz despite that it looks very nice) that is why I'm in the search of 120Hz monitor, because currently I have to play everything with Vsync on.

So goign back to your Asus VG for sale. Is there any type of Asus Warranty left on it?

Wow... well I had forgotten I made this post here.

Lucky me I have found the Asus V248QE 24" 144hz Monitor. I got it from Newegg for only $265 because I had a personal discount code saved. If anyone is the market for a 120+HZ monitor 3D capable. Then you should def look into the V248QE by Asus. I have doubled my Kills on BO2 its just amazing.

Cheers!
