That being said, its a beautiful screen, and after using it, i dont think i can ever go back to 1080p. I remember powering it up for the first time and having my mind blown.
For games and stuff, its probably overrated, and only puts more strain on your system to be honest. (At least most of the games I've tried so far - BF3 being the most notable). But the extra real estate when using the desktop is great.
Well, you have answered the question for me before I even asked it. I need it for gaming, and I like fluid gaming (Hence I hate my Asus VE248H 60Hz despite that it looks very nice) that is why I'm in the search of 120Hz monitor, because currently I have to play everything with Vsync on.
So goign back to your Asus VG for sale. Is there any type of Asus Warranty left on it?
Lucky me I have found the Asus V248QE 24" 144hz Monitor. I got it from Newegg for only $265 because I had a personal discount code saved. If anyone is the market for a 120+HZ monitor 3D capable. Then you should def look into the V248QE by Asus. I have doubled my Kills on BO2 its just amazing.
Cheers!
