We are a strong and dynamically expanding group of Curators who have been reaching bigger language groups which are operated by people from all over the world. I am the main editor who is leading all the Curators mentioned above. Moreover, me and my team together we are reviewing games which we receive, cause, obviously, I would not be able to review all the games by myself. That is why an issue with game being run too short before it is reviewed but in reality the game is launched by a curator from my team and then, after the analysis and discussion, the review is written based on this analysis. We have a rule that all reviews have to appear on my profile. Of course, when we receive more copies of a game, they are going to the members of our team who are also obligated to review them. That is why such situation looks here.

2. Why, even after your reviews have been translated, I still cannot understand them?

In the reviews I write, I am using pre-war futuristic writing style. In Poland Cracovian Bohemia existed which had pretty specific writing style. Authors and artists, deliberately were creating mistakes and errors in their writing, in order to shock their receiver/reader. To maintain the cultural legacy of this style, I was forced to adapt this style in order to reach the very same goal – to shock the consumer.
That is why in our reviews a huge number of every possible errors, starting from spelling, syntactic mistakes and twisted letters. That is why google translator may not be able to help in translating or understanding these reviews, as they are written in a specific, earlier mentioned style. That is why I strongly recommend to leave a comment under the review, shall you have any questions and I will try to answer them as soon as possible.

3. Why are you choosing “NO” in your reviews, I feel victimized!
Time – It is an asset that we, as a civilization, cannot produce or recover, that is why it is needed to handle it wisely.
Furthermore, we think that:

I. Productions that are made clearly only to earn money, which often results in a poor quality of the product, do not deserve more attention than the same as it was given in producing the game.

II. Productions that are full of bugs and errors (and it is clearly visible that developer does nothing with them). Of course, if the errors and bugs are fixed, just write to us so we will play the game again, in order to review it once again.

III. Productions that are detected as virus by antivirus programs – Of course, you can contact us and talk about this issue.

IV. Productions that are specifically 18+, for example, “Hentai” games – specifically games that are clearly made to stimulate lowest human instincts. The different situation appears, when the nudity and sexuality are not the main parts of the game, like, for example, in such game as Witcher 3. We won’t review games positively that are focusing solely on sex/nudity or even further. The only exceptions may come when the game actually surprises us with its content or story. Up to now, only 2 such games appeared that we reviewed them positively.

V. The game is not enjoyable/ it is not polished/ unfinished in such way that it is unbearable to play them.

VI. Games which could be considered as browser/web-based games.
Of course, we understand such developers but there’s always a limit. Steam has become truly a dump site of waste games, rendering them hundreds of thousands and, as a Curator, I firmly say “ENOUGH” to such state. There are exceptions for this situation, but only if the game shows that it is made to be of high quality, making them enjoyable to play.

VII. The game is nothing more but so-called “crap”.

VIII. “You have played this game only for 6 minutes!
That’s the required time to create a review on a game and, as mentioned earlier, above, the game has been played by a different member of our editorial team and I’m writing a review, with their help.
A vast number of developers are creating their first games and often the price for them is ridiculous. Few of these productions are made very simple, with poor quality but the price of them may reach even up to $500, which is ridiculous, especially when they are not genuine or have any unique mechanics/plot.
I strongly recommend reading some information about it, so in future it should be easier for you, developers, set an appropriate price to the content of the game.
Additionally, I would like to clear up certain issue. We are also affected by your emails, full of complaints and anger because your game, (which usually happens to be made very fast, without any major plan for it, or lack of knowledge and skill but we understand that with enough time and patience we believe that you will be capable of doing better), didn’t receive positive grade, but there is a reason for that. Video Games industry is a very competitive market, where you really have to have an idea and skills (and often it is not enough to achieve a success on Steam, which is flooded by hundreds of games). It is similar to situation when you complain that we rewarded a cook for a delicious cake but we criticise you for your burnt muffins.
We should respect each other, especially people who are following and observing Curator’s pages since they trust in our reviews and all what we want is to guide them to a good content. Demanding attitude and acting as a victim will not change the decision of the review, that is why I would like to ask you to maintain minimum culture towards each other (also I’d like to point out that forcing us to change our opinion in our review is against Steam’s rules and policy).
I would like to share a little secret with you. If you write to us in a cultural and nice way, asking us to delete a review, we shall do it without hesitation 
We understand that that for small developers such reviews are a disadvantage. That is why we are able to do it, if asked nicely, but remember that even a negative review spreads further into the internet and people will notice your game. We believe it is better to have a review, either good or bad than having none, but of course the decision belongs to you.
We are open for cooperation and dialogue.
What to do to make your game a good one?
We have few tips for you. First of all, familiarise yourself with videos/books or other source of information which may help you in creating a good game, from technical site but also from the psychological one.
I would also like you to familiarise how to promote your game, since without it, you will not achieve success and no one will hear about your game.
And, fi you are a person who only wants to earn money, then you may just focus on adult types of games (Hentai etc.), which will bring you on the top selling games.

II.
As a Steam’s Curator, I receive a lot of games to review, together with my editorial team. We believe in the principle that every game we receive will be reviewed, either it is triple A or Indie game. We are doing it as a part of our hobby, we are not paid for it (except for the games we receive for reviews if it counts as such). We have our lives, families, schools/jobs/studies. We would also like to develop our hobbies and relax during the free time.
And let’s face it, no one is interested in bad games so bad that they read full reviews about these games.

4. “You’re using my game to promote your page!”
Such practice, where you write that you are this or that curator, is pretty common.
And since the review is short (look above) means that situations looks just like that and it is not a form of promoting ourselves.

5. How may contact you?
You can contact me via steam (just write on my profile, who you are), then I will invite/accept you to my friends’ list or contact me via my business email which you can find on my steam profile or discord. Preferable option is the first one, as well as the second.

6. How curators work?
Yes – good review
No – bad review
? – neutral opinion or just an information

7. Why do Curators work this way?
Nowadays people are less eager and have less time to read. That is why quick and short reviews are something of demand and very clickable.

8. Is it possible to send you physical/press version of the game?
Yes, such option exists, we are actually preparing a video on YouTube, please contact us on this address: curatoragaimy@gmail.com

9. For which platforms are you writing your reviews?
Mainly we are reviewing games released on PC but we are also open on reviewing games released on platforms such as:
PC
PS4
PS5 (we are planning on purchasing one in the future)
Xbox 360
VR games

Thank you for your attention and commitment of your time to read this. If you have any questions, please ask.
