I've read the links regarding the subject and I think that including the information was the correct choice. It would have made no sense to have left it out considering that the game would have been included regardless of the LGBT issue.

Leaving it out may have been seen by some as "covering it up" and it's just as likely that this group would have rage quit had you not mentioned it. Consequently I don't think that the situation would have worked in your favor regardless.

However, I wouldn't make inclusion of games based specifically on these issues. There are already watch dog groups for stuff like that, although I don't know if they're on Steam.

Hm, heated discussion here. I'd like to add my view.
If a dev (or any other business entity) discriminates between users, then this dev exhibits anti consumer behavior, and hence it's worth mentioning in an ACPR curation. It does not, and should not, matter whether one supports the dev's opinion or not. Even _if_ one feels that the dev has "done the right thing", one should still be able to see that this "right thing" involved treating users differently based on personal factors independent of previous interaction, and hence is objectively an anti-consumer practice.

It's difficult to elaborate due to the 1000 character limit for comments - I'll post something longer in the forum topic, if I may.

i think it should be added in case a game gets reviewed because of something else game related
but by itself it seems too minor to warrant a report on its own

regarding caucasus there seems enough things going on to justify a report nonetheless

@9090: Clearly English isn't one of those 10 languages, because I distinctly remember telling you to keep it English and polite in this group, and then your second post after that is rude and Croation. I'm gonna go ahead and ban you for a week, it should let this discussion wrap up without you in it.

@Amberbaum - it seems that you're bored and you are who feels called out so do not play smart to me. And for your information, I have lived in two states where are censored media and every country in the world censor something when it does not fit, even your country, so do not be naive. You're the one who does not understand "censorship" and what it means but always shout it and point fingers at others.

here's Croatian one (saying) - ne guraj nos di mu nije mjesto!

@9090 Of course it has to be you who is crying "freedom of speech" right now and of course you are the one who starts saying "censorship" ( Query: Were you ever forced to live in a state that censors media and won't allow you free speech? No? Then please be silent.). I don't think that people like you even understand what it means and always shout it and point fingers at others if you aren't allowed to say your "opinion" - meaning being an ass for no reason and throwing temper tantrums.

"Freedom is not the capriciousness, to act arbitrarily, but the ability to act reasonably"
