Valve, creators of best-selling game franchises (such as Half-Life, Portal, Team Fortress, and Counter-Strike) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced the next major downloadable content (DLC) update for its co-operative zombie thriller, Left 4 Dead (L4D), Due out in late September 09’.

Entitled "Crash Course," the latest DLC delivers new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay to both platforms. Targeted for release in September, "Crash Course" bridges the gap between the end of the "No Mercy" campaign and the beginning of "Death Toll" in the original game, expanding the game universe with new locations, new dialogue from the original cast, and an explosive finale

While containing both Survival maps and a Co-operative Campaign, the primary goal of "Crash" is to deliver a complete Versus mode experience in just 30 minutes, resulting in a streamlined version of the game's existing Versus campaigns. A recharge timer for infected teammates has also been added, and item spawn behavior has changed for more balanced gameplay.

Ok so I've been putting off keeping this updating on a more often but as we are getting closer to Nov. (L4D-2) I though this would be a good time to start updating stuff again. One change I’ll make is changing POTW (which I’m terrible at updating) to Player of the month starting in Oct. Killing Floor has been good game to fill some zombie time until L4D2 and we should try setup time were we could all get on and play that together. I guess that’s about it for now, more to come.

I guess I should start calling this player of the month because I take so long to update them.

Anyways this time it’s…Outsider because I said so. Sure he plays Garry’s Mod all time wont TF2 or L4D with us but he can quiet any time he wants, just not right now :)

Also kind good time to say it’s been about a year since we all started hanging out on his vent. Actually I think more like late Feb. but w/e I’m late updating everything. Until next time.

So I figured it was time to update the POTW and this time it’s Caveman. He hasn’t been on much lately and we all hope he’s back soon pwning it up with us. Anyways that’s if for now.

This week one of our teams got Zombicidal Maniac; with Caveman being 1st then Gr3ml1n then Catherine, Acer and Me (Rusty007). This weeks POTW goes to Catherine for her help in 3 of the 4 of our group get this achievement. Sadly Vane died at the end :(
