In the year 2525, the human race encounters an advanced alien alliance. This alliance called itself "the Covenant". The Covenant decrees humanity an affront to their gods, and the Human-Covenant war begins.

The year is 2536, we are fighting the Covenant alliance. For once the human race has united under a single banner against a common enemy. 11 long years of war, efforts seem pointless at times, we are fighting a losing war. The Covenant have burned our worlds, killing billions in their campaign.
