TENTANG Zeph-Tek

Zeph-Tek Corporation

The ZTC is a themed group revolving around the fictional corporation, the Zeph-Tek Corporation. ZTC hopes to bing a new age of cybernetic enhancements to the world, but to do this, they need to rally the support of the common people.

This is where you come in.

The ZTC is a small community. We're trying to revive it, so if you're invited in, feel free to join up and become friends with a few others. We hope to have discussions, contests, reviews, game nights, and general fun.

ZTC permission changes + reviving a Husk - Pt.2

Some permmission changes have gone into effect.

Player of the week can be set by officers, Moderators, and CEO. Like someone? Make them player of the week for a bit.

Anybody can recommend a game. If you recommend a game, we will look at it, and consider making it one of our associated games.

All members can invite new players. We encourage inviting new players you find fun to play with. People who are cool. You know?

All members can invite a non-ZTC member to our group-chat. For, Reasons.

Moderators can boot people out of the chat. Should that ever become a concern in the future.

The ZTC is now invite only. There are reasons for this, which I will explain to you.

We are going to try and form a clan. No, this doesn't mean that I'm enrolling you into MLG or any of that ♥♥♥♥, it means that I want to unite you all into a community. I want to try and find time for game nights. Events, Contests. The ZTC is a peice of fiction, so maybe these contests will revolve around creativity, or donating something to a charity. (Christmas is coming up.)

None of this in any way shape or form is mandatory. However, if you don't want to be a part of a community who may nag you to join in on certain events in cheap or free games, you may want to consider leaving. But if such events interest you in any way shape or form, please do stay, and consider inviting your friends in.

On inviting people in, If someone meets any of the following criteria, feel free to toss an invite.

1. The person is dependable, or you know them IRL.
2. The person makes you laugh.
3. The person is a team player.
4. The person makes you enjoy yourself easier.

If the person meets the following criteria, I generally advise against inviting them in.

1. The person is never online.
2. The person is regularly angry, or negative.
3. The person is a poor team-player, and not dependable.
4. The person brings your mood down on more than one occassion.
5. The person has had a run-in with VAC, or uses some form of cheat system.

I am fairly busy with school, and our timezone is in the atlantic. This means that finding time for people who are on the west coast, or generally finding time may be a little difficult, but we hope to try and host the following.

1. Announcements - If someone has completed a goal, we want to know. I recently set someone as "player of the week" because they just got their 1st infamy point in Payday 2. Tell us about these things. Hit me up by sending an email at "ZephTekCorp@gmail.com"

2. Contests - There likely won't be much of a prize beyone bragging rights, but there may be contests involving games, communities, or charities.

3. Game Nights - Long time ago, a clan I attended had "Game night" And the objective was to getas many people to fill the server as possible. It was a mind-blowing success, and it was generally boatloads of fun. Laughter, booze, some members lanned. It was ♥♥♥♥♥♥' great. If we can do this again with the ZTC, this would be positively awesome.

4. Steam Curators - Are you a games journalist? Want to be one? Steam now has curators. Review a game, and get going. The ZTC provides you with a platform for this.

Finally, I apologize for any spelling mistakes. If you read ALL of that, Congrats! You are an excellent member of society.

For those who tl;dr'd, Invite cool friends, and expect events. You also make pandas sad.

Zeph-Tek Corporation. Reviving a husk.

When I initially created this steam group, I was prettymuch just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with story-writing. I made the group for a few friends, had the wordly word of the month, and all is good.

Considering that I am sad and a hopeless addict to PAYDAY2, and I am looking for people who play Planetside and Payday, I decided to rebuild the group.

As of right now, These are the two main shooters I play, but I understand that people have a wide range of games they too enjoy. So here's the Plan C. It's a carbon copy of Plan B.

Are you hopelessly addicted to a game? Do you positively NEED people for this addiction? Do you want people to indulge in your desires? Invite them here. You can use this Steam community to go through, and find people playing the game you're into. From there, just simply join them! Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy!

I hope to have the ZTC rebuilt, and grow to a large Steam community. I have also enabled the forums, so you can chat about how awesome the Corporation is. Considering that this is the ZTC, there really isn't any other topic.

So, you've been invited, you've joined... Here's what you do.

1. Have a drink! Congratulations! You're now a full-time employee! Keep an eye on your phone. A recruitment Specialist may contact you for a task. We may compensate you on completion of that task. (No, you won't be living through Hotline Miami. That'd be pretty sweet though, right?) This drink does not need to be alcoholic, we actually prefer you drink cold, clean H2O, or afruit juice of your choice if it is around either 0700, 1200, or 1700.

2. Look through your Steam friends list. Cherry pick the people you find who are the most enjoyable to play with. RL friends, people with headsets. That sort of thing. We want cool people within the ZTC. People you enjoy playing with. That sort of stuff.

3. Marvel over your headset. Really, Co-operative games require a headset. If you don't have one, then I dare say you should get one, or consider leaving the Corporation.

4. Play videogames. The ZTC is gathering statistical information over what kind of person you are, and how you play games. Don't worry about how we gather that information! Just try not lto look toward the corner of your room to maintain ignorance. STOP! DON'T LOOK! Phew... we were close, weren't we?

5. Look through the Corporate playerlist when you need a buddy. Feel free to shoot a message to that person. "Hey, I'm playing shooterguy co-op, wanna join?" Easy! That person will either respond with a Yes or No, and if they responded with the former, shoot them a invite! Horray! Friendship at last!

6. Don't be a ♥♥♥♥. Like I mentioned. The ZTC is for cool people. And you got recruited because you're a cool person. If you're generally an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ toward other people, don't expect to be able to remain within the Corporation for long. We can only expunge you, because in SOME LAME Countries, sending out a hit-squad is still illegal. UGH!

7. Have fun. And feel free to let us know if you've done any major crowning achievement. An announcement may be made.
