I have received a large number of messages in my DM about where my Assassins Creed Shadows guide has disappeared to. I hereby confirm that it has been temporarily removed from public access due to a complaint received for violating the DMCA.

The essence of the complaint is that the copyright holder of the gaming portal PowerPyx accused me of stealing his intellectual property.

The copyright holder filed a complaint with Valve, the guide was immediately blocked without any investigation due to the fact that if Valve does not respond to the complaint, they may be held liable along with me if the essence of the complaint is confirmed. The guide has not been removed, but is hidden from public viewing.

Despite the fact that I do not deny that I use some information sources when writing guides and PowerPyx in particular too, the complaint contains a statement that the original article was stolen by me in its entirety, literally word for word, which does not correspond to reality.

At the moment, I have written a response to the complaint and provided it to Valve, and I am also open to communication with the copyright holder and have provided comments that the whole situation is the result of a misunderstanding.

However, according to Steam's rules, the investigation takes up to 10 business days and since I am convinced that I am right and confirm that the text descriptions, design, images and screenshots that are used belong to me or are made on the basis of materials that are published by the developers for free non-commercial use, I am republishing the guide.

This is a two-way street. If I manage to reject the complaint and restore the guide, I will have wasted time and you know that I love to post my guide as fast as I can. And if I republish the guide, I will have two separate guides, which is stupid. In the end, I am republishing the guide as insurance in case for some reason I cannot reach an agreement with the copyright holder or if Valve is convinced that the complaint is valid.

When I choose a game to make a guide for, I try to predict how many people will want to do the same. After all, an achievement guide is one of the most obvious ideas for a guide here on Steam, not counting some kind of technical fix and a tutorial for the game.

It's easy to choose not very popular or nunknown games, because I'm almost always sure that there is no competition there. But there are games like my recent choice: Monster Hunter Wilds. This game just screamed that it would be popular and attract a lot of attention, and also that at least 4-5 more people would create an achievement guide with me.

At such moments, I always think about whether people will like my guide and if so, then why, and if not, then also why? Sometimes my guide turns out to be better and more popular than others, but this time everything was different.

Despite the fact that my guide was one of the first, it didn't help it to even reach the first page of game guides. This always makes me think that my guides are too complicated, overloaded and inconvenient, or their pretentious design causes discomfort in studying and using. Or they are annoyed by the AI ​​mascots in the guide title.

I just wanted to say that I don't consider myself a super-trooper mega cool creator of the best guides in the world, here the user decides and I should take this into account and draw conclusions.
