It is not "Add window" OR press F3
Instead it is you select "add window" then go back to your game THEN you press F3

There should be no issue with quotes, plenty of titles use quotes, but i don't see double quotes in the title, only the friendlyname entry, did you add those?
I think some special characters including double quotes are set to get removed from the friendly title, so there's no point in adding them.

When i google "dark souls 3 controller spins the cameras." it seems a common problem with the game, unrelated to this app.

Doesn't work with Arkham Origins. The game reverts to fullscreen on its own when the hotkey is pressed.

The program is not supposed to put a fullscreen game in windowed mode, you need to run your game windowed before using this app.

I don't use Win11 yet but historically MS.Windows treats borderless windows that use anything other than the exact size of the monitor as windowed applications, while if they're the exact measurement it treats it as if fullscreen, and gives less priority to rendering things in the background that cant be seen rendering things that are behind it, making it run much smoother.
It is odd that mismatching your resolution works for you.

Just make sure to turn off "run at startup" everything else is contained in just that exe and ini file so you can put them where ever.

What is your resolution, and what is the offset set to?

The behavior you're describing indicates that the game engine is forcing a particular window style, so every time my app changes it, the game forces the old windows style back again.
There's nothing i can do about that unfortunately.

Hi what version of windows are you on?
For clarity: there should be an icon in the System Tray (right-side of the Windows Taskbar) not a window.
