Steam Group for TF2 Pub Raids

MOST CASUAL EVENTS ARE NOW ORGANIZED IN DISCORD!

It was originally made for others to be able to set up parties of their own.

Community Server events are always hosted here in addition to discord.

Raid Overview

- TF2 only allows up to 6 players total in a party. Therefore, 4 or 5 other players can join up at a time to play in pub servers.
- The idea is to all go 1 class (and probably 1 specific weapon).
- Taunt after any one of us gets a kill.
- May play on community servers as well.

General Details

1. Most events will be organized through announcements! You will receive announcement notifications automatically if you're in the group.

2. We will mostly be playing in American servers. Anyone from any location may join, but you will have to put up with your latency.

3. Being good at the game is super helpful, but there are no restrictions to the number of hours you have in TF2.

4. If you have some kind of interruption, you're free to drop out or leave temporarily.

5. Any gameplay may be used for videos. This group was made mainly to have fun. But perhaps some moments are worth showing online.

NOTE: From time to time, we may want to have sessions where a certain taunt or weapon is needed. We will let people know ahead of time if requirements are involved.

Other Issues Encountered

1. Hackers - We'll queue up for a different game if we encounter one or more hackers.

2. Autobalancing - Again, we'll queue up so no one's left out.

3. Invisible Friend Requests - Sometimes friend requests aren't visible to me for whatever reason. If it's evident I'm not responding, apparently you can fix this by blocking and unblocking me. Then resend the request.

4. No more space left in party - I'll post a comment on the announcement letting people know the party is full.

A lot of players expressed that it would be a good idea to intentionally organize these kind of events. I agree that there is potential for players to have a lot of fun. If you're interested, please consider joining! Hope to play with you guys soon.
