Pólemoi tōn Diadóchōn, or Wars of Alexander's Successors, were a series of conflicts fought between Alexander the Great's generals over the rule of his vast empire after his death. They occurred between 322 and 275 BC. In this community, we attempt to recreate the experience of this time period through historical fun.

A Shutdown
This RP community was established in the means to be different than the common nation roleplay, however it has failed to live up to the expectation placed on it to stop the same problems reoccurring which dooms it to failure in the long run. The administration is also not functioning at full capacity as it should, no fault of their own but however does not reflect appropriately in our means to handle situations at hand. I give significant credit to Lightning and Julicos for their handling of the many rolls, including the Italian and Greek wars and situations including Franco which his decisions had serious effect, the Consul system has proven effective in its role as a supreme court but the Strategos system has functioned at minimum capacity which is not appropriate.

The same issues of debates, time bubbles, lack of interest and other issues common within nation RP's reoccur here, and the goal for longevity is to keep them at bay which sadly wasn't enough. The community has given itself a fair shot, nearly hitting its one week milestone however due to insufficient means to function it will not live appropriately past its first milestone and rather let the natural causes grind it down into the expected result I will be the one to do so. The recruitment progress has gone well, with a total of seven new individuals for this community but the community overall has shrunk over the years to grow more elitist, favouritist, gatekeepish, and overall stagnate with the Old Guard rapidly leaving and the fate of the community in the grand scheme of things is sealed as a result. In my 'quest' to reforge it, I have done so with little experience and this has proven to be more of a significant study session which many notes I have taken along the way.

It is ultimately the head admins fault for the failure of the community, failure to properly explain and failure to properly execute it and in the same means the "Captain goes down with the ship" the saying will remain true here, I'll be making sure the deconstruction and archiving process is fulfilled. Friends across the Water
For long has trade been established with our Belgic kinsmen across Our Sea. But the time has come to broaden our horizons. An envoy was sent to the most noble Utharpratrix, Chieftain of the Veneti and King of the Armoricans. At Condate, it was agreed that formalised trading relations would be established. To bind our peoples in kinship, friendship, and alliance, Caerunos, Ruler and Chieftain of the Trinovantes, would be married to a daughter of King Utharpratrix. Truly a worthy match for those of the blood of Camulos.

This new agreement has resulted in a increased trickle of particularly.. luxurious goods, said to be from the mysterious warm lands of the South. Although these wares have made way their way to Albion before, this new trade agreement has helped to increase their rate and variety. Wares, such as distinctly foreign ceramics, jewellery, ambers, wines, and dried exotic fruits.
Friends across the Waters
Strange dark men of otherworldly wealth with ships that bore to be those of the Gods have returned to Albion. In our oral stories, it was said that these men had previously visited and even traded with us, who's leader was known as "Himilco."

These 'Himilcoans' sailed up the River Koulno, seeking entry to the in-land docks of Camuldonon, one of the largest settlements in all of Britain.. Here, they were granted an audience with its Lord, Caerunos. They came seeking trade, for they had long heard of Britain's wealth in tin and lead.

An agreement was made, and the Himilcoans swore to only trade with the Trinovantes in all of the Isles. The Himilcoans offered wares never before seen, such as the large milk white horns of a creature said to be larger than a horse with grey, hairless skin.
