Just stopping by to let you know that the Warhub is still alive and kicking!

@Zacraft210 has lead to way in building the new spawn which you can see on warhub.tommytony.com at /spawn (for the moment, we're still running Bukkit for 1.6.4). Besides the awesome new spawn, there are tons of great new warzone available built by long-time members of the community over the past few months.

While we're waiting around for Bukkit to upgrade to MC v1.7.2, @cmastudios and I have also been working on a new War version, v1.8 Nimitz, which should come out shortly. Thanks for helping us with the testing.

@cmastudios and @Zacraft210 are now officers on this group and will be making further announcement shortly regarding the future of Warhub. There are plans to move away from Karma and freshen things up with a new system which puts the focus almost entirely on War and building great warzones together. Satellite servers for survival and PVP activities (on 1.7.2) are in the works too.

Just a quick notice to let you know that, while the whitelist is still up, I've managed to update the server to 1.2.3.

We're missing a few plugins, but it's a start. :)

We'll open up to guests again once the griefer teams get bored.

We may have to re-whitelist in order to ward off attacks in the future. Thanks for your understanding.

I'll try to accomodate offline builder promotion in a future patch of Karma so that you guys can invite your friends in during whitelist events.

The source of all the mystery crashes was found: SuperJump.

Last night, my host suffered an exceptional network crash which took out part of the server's datacenter for a few hours. Still, Craftbukkit has been running smoothly since I removed SuperJump.

So, we're back running 24/7.

Hello everyone.

As you all have probably noticed, the Warhub's been having reliability problems lately.

I apologize for the inconvenience and all the downtime. I'm trying to nail down the issues but it's proving difficult to resolve. For the time being I'm stuck restarting the server dozens of times a day, which is pretty aggravating.

On an unrelated note, after mucho griefing I've decided to remove /gm access from builders. They'll just have to wait for zonemaker rank. Sorry!
