Welcome folks to the GMD BC2 group! This group is intended for players on Battlefield Bad Company 2 who use it either on or off the Steam platform.

Since the game is now dead, feel free to join the group to show your love for BC2 and to express your hatred towards the bug-fest that is Battlfield 4.

How is BC2 for you?!

Aside from it's glitches and a few server issues, it's fantastic. Hit markers and pings still need to be sorted on the non-steam version but once all the balances are set in place and the kinks rolled out then it'll be awesome!

What's your opinion on the game?!

(Note, Khai-FX : I close Steam to play, my FPS is already medium/high on DX10, 1680x1050, HIGH detail, Textures, Med shadows, high effects, 2xAA,4xAF, HBAO off, Vsync off - but I have maps load quicker. My FPS is the same with Steam open in game, but it's odd that games load quicker in the interval (where starts are shown). So yeah... Steam will be closed for me)

To all Players of the new Battlefield Bad Company 2, If those of you have been asking if your current system can run BC2 or NOT. Check out this site www.canyourunit.com (Can You Run It). This site was introduce on a short TV program called "Click". Where it tells you for hardware(new 3.0 USB), software, cool sites, etc.

Can You Run It. What it does?
This site provides a One-Click solution that looks at your computer's hardware and system software to determine whether or not your current system can run a product. Each of your computer's components is evaluated to see how well it meets the minimum and recommended requirements for specific products. Recommendations are made on how to update or upgrade each component which does not meet the listed requirements. Sometimes, a simple, free software download is all that is needed. Sometimes you'll find that you need a different video card to fully experience what the game has to offer.
